Ahern Rentals
Hello Rental Customers,
My name is Don Ahern, President and owner of Ahern Rentals. Five years ago we installed two sets of Super Grip 12x16.5 skid steer tires and one set of Super Grip 15x19.5 telehandler tires on our equipment. To date these tires are still in service after several thousand hours of rental use.
On all new equipment purchases I now request Super Grip tires to be installed at the production level. For all replacements tires I will use only Super Grip. Ahern Rentals has begun using Super Grip tires on all of our skid steers, loaders and telehandlers.
I have now realized, a tire is not just a tire! Save yourself a lot of money just as we have by using Super Grip brand tires. You are welcome to come by my yard and see the Super Grip 12x16.5 severe duty and 15x19.5 tires that are still in service after 4,000+ hours of rental use.
I would like to thank Super Grip for opening a distribution center in Las Vegas to provide all the Ahern Rental stores with excellent tires.
Sincerely,
Don Ahern - President

Dear Tim,
I wanted to give you an update on the Super Grip Tires we are currently using. As you know, we are an inbound/outbound cross-dock. We currently utilize 16 Toyota Forklifts on 2 shifts. Our forklift drivers run the trucks rough, "smoking tires" are not uncommon here.
We installed Super Grip over a year ago, and could not be happier. We were using a very well known national brand, and could only get 6 months life on a set of tires. Since going to the Super Grip brand you now distribute, we have recently passed the 1 year mark, and I can envision several more months of use with these tires.
I would recommend these tires to anyone, as they have far exceeded my expectations.
Regards,
Jackie Whitaker - Maintenance Manager
Baker's Construction Services
Attn: Katrina contractors and subcontractors
My name is Chris Turner, project manager for Baker Construction Service. The purpose of this memo is to tell you about a tire that will save you and your subcontractors a lot of money and down time.
I introduced my subcontractors to the Super Grip tire. This tire is giving them 4-5 times the tire life that they were getting from any other brand of tire that you can think of. They had tried Bobcat, Caterpillar, Solideal, Goodyear, Galaxy… and none of these brands came close to having the tire life that the Super Grip tire has - not to mention that flats with the Super Grip tire are at a minimum. We have not experienced a single puncture from a bedrail or rebar.
I found out about Super Grip tires when Baker Construction Services was the prime contractor for the Bristol Motor Speedway Nascar track and Drag Strip. We were dealing with blue slate, which is also extremely abrasive, and it would destroy a set of skid steer tires in two weeks. When we installed Super Grip tires on our machines, our tire problems were over. I also noticed on our clean-up in Florida after Hurricane Wilma that Super Grip's tires outlasted all of the other tires by four to one.
Fellow contractors, I do not ever endorse a product. My job is to make a profit for Baker Construction Services by riding hard on all of my subcontractors and seeing that they all make money. As you all know, the debris in the streets of New Orleans from Katrina is very harsh and a high risk environment for punctures. Super Grip has stepped up again. I now have two contractors using Super Grip's tires, and you can ask them what they think about these tires. Call Willard Cutshaw with J & W construction at 423-426-4737, or Chris Wise, the president of L & L Services at 704-791-6190. Feel free to call me at 423-340-0153. As you are well aware, our subcontractors need to make as much money as they can, and getting their tires to run 3-4 times longer will help everyone concerned clear more yards per day.
Sincerely,
Chris Turner

Dear Super Grip Tires,
When I took my parts manager position 5 years ago, we sold only one brand of tires, the OEM tires from the manufacturer. At best, we sold less than 2 percent of our total parts invoices in tires. Today, we can proudly boast that nearly 20 percent of our total parts sales are now tires! I have been asked how we did it and how they could get started doing it too. I have been told time and time again by other dealerships that their store couldn't possibly sell that much tires , many of the obstacles stated where… "There is too much competition in my market." "You can't make enough profit selling tires." And "We sell what we have to earn return dollars." All of these statements are true when you do nothing to change it! Yes, you can be competitive, yes you can make more profit and yes you will do much better than your return dollars percentage.
Selling Super Grip tires has opened up many new doors, and added new customers to our dealership. Our sales department has been successful in that it is much easier to win new customers by offering tires to customers for their current machines and selling up when the time comes to buy that new machine. Either way more customers are coming into our dealership. Rental yards are finding that they are doing a great deal less in overall tire repair using Super Grip tires. Keeping their machines "up time" at a maximum, rental yards can then focus on what they do best, renting more and more machines. This is a great situation. When customers see what tires are on their rental machine, they can assume that if its tough enough for a rental machine, its going to be the best tire they can get when they purchase their own machine.
I challenge anyone who is interested in making more profit and selling better tires, to contact Super Grip and find out how easy it can be. In fact, you can contact me personally if you need any information on our success in installing and selling Super Grip brand tires.

Dear Mr. Christenberry,
I just wanted to let you know that I have been very pleased with the tires you all put on our tow motors back in 2003. The following are some statistics you might be interested in.
Our Toyota Tow Motor: Meter reading as of 07/27/2009 - 18531.1 hrs
The tires were originally installed on: 09/23/2003 - Hour meter reading 5133.0
18,531.1
-5133.0
= 13, 398.10 (Total Hours Run)
Also, new drive tires were installed on 08/04/2004 and we now have 10,677.1 hours as of 07/16/2008 and are still running. Needless to say, we have been very satisfied.
Sincerely,
Scotty Maupin - Plant Manager

To whom it may concern,
Lowe's conducted a test of the Super Grip Forklift Rim Guard Tires at the Lowe's facility located in Nashville, TN. [In 6 months time] there was no measurable wear on the Super Grip tires and on this same date, the other tires in consideration in this test were worn out. As of the date of this letter [3 months later], the Super Grip tires are still working with one-half the tread left. It is obvious to me that the Super Grip tire is going to last four times longer than the other tires involved in this test under the same working conditions.
I might add that the down time due to flats was nil for the Super Grip tires as compared to the other tires involved in this test.
Very truly yours,
The Contractor Yard, Inc.
Taylor Machine Works, Inc.
TO: Whom It May Concern
Taylor has been a customer of Super Grip Corporation for several years. I can truly say the 12:00 x 20 Super Grip is one of the finest tires on the market today, and we have seen tire life that rivals the Michelin X mine D2 in heavy applications. We have also had tremendous success with the 14:00 x 25 in steel applications and tests are currently underway on the Super Grip 18:00 x 25 tires.
I feel Super Grip has an intense knowledge of compounds, and they will build what works.
Sincerely,
Robert Taylor - VP of Operations
Zickgraf Hardwood Flooring
Dear Mr. Christenberry:
On September 24, 2003, Zickgraf installed Super Grip forklift tires in our Bryson City plant. The Super Grip tires were replaced in October of 2007 with 8780 hours on them. This is 5.8 times longer than any major off-brand forklift tire has ever lasted in this plant.
Super Grip has saved Zickgraf a great deal of money and down time. Also, 24 less tires from just one forklift were dumped into the Franklin County landfill due to Super Grip's excellent quality. Multiply that by 35 forklifts in our operations and it is an enormous savings of money to Zickgraf, not to mention the huge savings to the environment.
I thank Mark Fender for his excellent service and Super Grip for the best of the best forklift tires.
Sincerely,
F.P. Bodenhiemer - VP of Operations
